Anna Grimm was a member of the Grimm Family, through her marriage to Josef Grimm. Like all members of the Grimm family, it can be assumed she was either a fairytale detective, or she was aware of the existence of Everafters.

Anna Grimm is the great-great grandmother of Sabrina and Daphne Grimm. She had three children with Josef: Peter, Vesta and Trixie Grimm. It can be assumed that Vesta and Trixie are twins though it is possible that Anna gave birth to her two daughters separately within a year.

The Latin form of Channah or Hannah, Anna is a Biblical name that became prominent in the English-speaking world in the 18th century, along with it's variants Anne and Ann.  The name is thought to mean 'gracious' and 'good'.
